Seventeen year old Julia is looking to make her mark on the world. But when Julia tags her school, she soon gets expelled. With being the only Deaf girl in her school full of hearies, Julia is an outcast. And even though she promised her moms, Julia really needs to get back out there. Wars start, friends are made and lost, and a whole crap ton of art gets put on walls. Gardener's book was story is HEREoically fun, flashy, and feminist. If I had one complaint, the story was sometimes hard to follow. Other than that, this book was awesome, and a lesson in admitting when you're wrong. LOVE IT. 4/5
