Middle Grade Mondays! Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy: A Modern Retelling of Little Women

This book follows the modern-day March sisters, each with their own individual problems.

Meg, who feels like the only way to be happy is to marry rich, Jo, who has a giant secret about her self-identity, Beth, who has mysterious health problems, and Amy, who deals with bullying at school. When their father gets hurt overseas, life at home becomes more complicated. Can the March sisters stay together through it all? This novel was captivating and a good size for a graphic story. I enjoyed this more than Little Women itself, which means something. The character development and the reliability of the sisters was perfect for a story like this. I enjoyed this very much, and I hope you did, too.
